[open] Crash-To-Login Gathering While Mounted Forced FPV
 

This applies to the two three addons that I've tested:

Maybe most users don't do this, but I like to mount in 1st person and go about gathering herbs. Both mentioned addons let me ride in 1st person (even "lock" it to 1st person.)

STEPS:
- Ride around on my mount.
- Gather herbs repeatedly, while mounted.
- Mount up again.

Within two or three attempts I get the CTL, over and over. Had to disable all addons and test, until I found out the cause.

Can only assume this is related to the dismount animation when gathering while mounted.

I recently took over development of The Elder Cam (literally today). I will take a look at things.

After poking around, I'm not quite sure what is causing the problem. The addon doesn't seem to be making an overabundance of calls, which often results in kicking one back to the login screen. However, she is using a fixed timer that causes things to update every 50 milliseconds, or 20 times a second. To me, this seems a little fast for this type of addon, but then again other addons update every frame without issues.

Also, I have so far been unable to replicate it, no matter how many times I ride up to a resource and collect it, then remount. Perhaps I'm not doing exactly what you're doing. Essentially, I ride up to the resource, press "E" to harvest it, and then "H" to mount and ride off to another.

I have noticed a couple of things are broken with the addon, such as conversations switching to a different camera view even though the option to stay in player-view is selected. Shoulder swapping fails sometimes.

So, I dunno right now. If there's any more info you can give me, that might help.
