Request/Idea - Profession Research Timers
 

One thing I really wanted to see in game was a way to tell when my research time was up so I could be more efficient. It would be great if there was a mod that would indicate how much time was left on research projects without needing to go to a profession station and look it up.

It could be as simple as an icon for the profession and a timer 00:00:00. It might be even better if it had an icon for the profession and category being researched. For example Smithing Icon, Armor Icon, 00:00:00.

Unfortunately, I am not much of a coder so I will put it before you fine folks as an idea. I posted this on reddit addons forum the other day but thought it might gain more traction here. ;)

I thought I saw or read something about this elsewhere on the site, either someone saying they were thinking of writing one or someone else asking about it like you.

I'll be concentrating my addon writing on stuff that would help me with my crafting work so I'll book mark this idea as one to look into once the game goes live and I've got my gatherer addon improved somewhat.

I'll be doing research regularly on my characters so this is definitely a useful thing to have.

Other possibilities for such an addon is to list items that have researchable items that you have yet to research etc.

I easily could put together a set of icons for it if you would like, or if it would make things any easier. ;)

Looks cool, will keep it in mind as the button perhaps of a drop down for items that could be next on your research sheet.
