Hello,

Minion doesn't want to start. Stuck on the window where "minion ZAM" are write.

If i let him turn, i take an java error " MalformedURLException:unknown protocol: socket"

Any idea why it's doesn't work ?

Something is preventing it to connect to our servers. Can you check your firewall or history on your virus/malware scanner to see if its being blocked?

I checked. I see nothing.
I tried to desactived my virus scanner and my firewall and ... nothing.
Minion stay on this screen infinitely or some time give the same java exception.



i regive my minion.xml and minion0. Minion0 look bigger than the original one.

Are you using a BigFoot Killer Network card perchance? Check the BigFoot Killer Network Manager as I believe it includes a firewall and others have noticed it has blocked Minion communication.

Your logs confirm Minion can't connect to the internet. It can't even grab the font file from our API server. So I'm focusing on things that would prevent Minion from connecting.

I have a realtek card. I check if a network manager is associated with the card but their is nothing.

I have found the issue. My default browser is firefox. I have switch network setting from "auto detect proxy parameter for this network" to "no proxy". Now it's works i can use minion and download without problem addons.
