Addon Comment Section Search Function
 

Greetings All,

Is there a search function for the comment section of an addon?

If not, I would like to request one. There are often 50+ pages of comments on the more popular addons I use and even if it's old information it's often valuable for me but it can take quite a bit of time to sift through all those comments page by page to get to it.

Please note: I did search this forum for a similar question and found a thread from 2016 that wasn't conclusive so rather than necro I decided to post this new thread. My apologies if that was not the correct choice.

Nope, currently there is no search which also searches the comments as it seems.
Only a forum search is available.

That's the reason why some addons add a "sticky" post at the top containing valuable info about the addon, like workarounds, known bugs, beta versions etc.
Everything else needs to be manually searched through atm.

Thanks for the reply, Baertram. It's at least good to know I'm not missing functionality that exists.
