Skyshards not working
 

So, the addon is installed and comes up with no issue dialog.

However, they do not show up on the map and when I open the settings menu, the icons choices are not visible either.

1. Logout
2. Search for the file shader_cache.cooked in the folder above your AddOns (addOns folder can be found this way: https://www.esoui.com/forums/faq.php..._howto_install)
3. Delete it
4. Login again (could take longer than normal this time)

This could fix the texture issues you got.

Make sure the addon folder looks like this
AddOns/Skyshards/*lots of files*
and not something like
AddOns/Skyshards/Skyshards/*lots of files*
