Win 8.1, minion wont run
 

I seem to be having an issue when I try to start Minion I get the problem loading JVM.DLL screen then Failed to launch JVM. I have read over your other Threads and saw a fix of a missing C++. MY question is when I go to windows site to get that file it doesn't list windows 8.1 as being compatible?

Anyone successfully run minion on 8.1 yet?
if so what do I need to do?
sorry only had this OS a week and I'm really not liking its chunkiness!!

Sorry for the trouble and we hope to have Minion detect if thats missing and auto install it after asking if its ok.

Thank you for the quick response unfortunately even after I installed the files I continue to get the same error.

I'm sorry I was wrong you need to install this (see links in the answer)... I assume your error also talks about a missing MSVCR100.dll right?
