In WoW I used MoveAnything for this purpose, you could mouse over any UI element and it would show you the name of it.

So something like I would mouse over the chat minibar when I minimize chat and it tells me it's "ZO_ChatWindowMinBar".

Specifically, I'm looking for that damn keybind symbol that is left of the quest tracker (cycle focused quest). It appears as soon as you bind a key for it (I don't use it for that purpose, but the death recap toggle uses the same hotkey).
