One thing that might get you up and running is to remove the AddOns from your AddOn folder. Then Minion has to do less communication to our API as it doesn't have to try and figure out what everything is. During detection Minion makes multiple API calls per Addon to detect and even more if 1 AddOn has a match with several others in our database.
Then once Minion is fully loaded re-download the AddOns under "find more". It takes a lot less API calls to download/update something then it does to re-detect AddOns.
Further more we are moving datacenters in the next couple days which should improve our international traffic greatly. They have been proven to be much more responsive with our other sites on ZAM Network.
