This could be a "feature", too. This way, the button is not clicked by accident
I like the idea of allowing to change settings away from default, if a "settings"-addon is installed, only.
Maybe allowing "styles" via activating different addons?
Changing the width (dynamic or not) of the right-side requires to change all controls, because the layout is hard-coded in every control without a master-width.
At this point, I wanted to wonder, if everybody is happy with this "thousand" files to include approach. But, if it is one addon only, this question is obsolete.
This would also reduce the size of the other addons and the "thousand" version checks at startup.
