From what I understand from messing around with my ultimate counter, you can't get information about abilities that aren't in your active bar. I
might be wrong about that, so when I get the chance I'll take another look to see if the API has any functions for that. If it does, I could probably add a smaller display to my add-on to show the status of the ability on the inactive bar.
