I can confirm Minion is running fine on:
OSX 10.11.6
Minion.app (standalone) 3.0.4
I've had a similar problem the OP describes in the past once or twice, but a system restart has always resolve it. The only other similar situation I had was with high packet loss on my network (>10%)
