Someone in my guild had the same issue. Now there is nothing wrong with Minion although I do complain about it. I have installed TTC with Minion just fine.
Exit the game, close the exe and make sure it is not showing on the taskbar in the system tray. Manually delete the mod, download TTC from the site itself, manually install it, run the exe.
