I think there should be a small standalone addon that does this. But i can't remember the name.
Furthermore, one of my addons does this as well: RdK Group Tool.
But you will have a lot of additional functionality in the addon, which you may not want.
(btw. you can disable all modules besides the campaign auto join... but it still seems a bit like an overkill)
