Hello here, first of all, i'm not dead, I come here quite often and already spent
hours trying to debug multicraft, for now, in vain. So i code elsewhere for now.
I don't refuse help
But i don't need a tester, only a specialist of keybindings which coded a lot on those functionnality. The bug is maybe really easy to fix, but as for now I still don't know why it occurs. With all the tests I've done, this is mainly because :
Multicraft was not 100% well coded (it worked nicely before but 2-3 cleanup was missing)
ESO 1.5 update brokes everything in smithing. (for all who can have access to esoui source code, just compare, all was revamped).
2 minor updates in 1.5 incrementaly fixed errors (first was a random nil error understandable for me, second was a random assertion which i didn't understood too).
I'm a bit newbie in keybindings and scenes (even if there is 0 lines of code about scene manager, the bug triggered by keybindings affect the scene itself..)
Okay so my problems :
When user craft to a smithing* (steel, clothier or wood) : all works well ..
- But when he goes to another smithing station :
- Sometimes (it's a random bug, occured 20% with 1.5, then now ~2% and need a reloadui to get fixed) !
Its UI (the SCENE) was the old one :
This can happens if :
Multicraft didn't triggered its UI (the slider)
if it does
if nothing was crafted
if something was crafted
But please notice, as for now, the problem is still random. I can interact 50 times with the 3 crafting stations, without any problem, I can craft 200 differents items, : 0 problems, etc. and after 30seconds / 10min of tries : bug appears
I'm not really using the version released on esoui. Mine works a bit well but it's still with this bug.
But with all my tries, the bug is almost fixed, before 1.5.5, Multicraft was asserting with a nice error displayed and with latests ESOUI updates from ZOS, it's doesn't triggers any error messages. I've restarted to work on it, I'll try with my testers to make the bug happens, and if nothing happens, I'll release something.
In fact I would really understand "why" and not releasing something in hoping it will get fixed by any incantations.
