Oh thats interesting. I haven't tested Minion on a raid setup on a mac pro. I have an old mac pro tower that I could try and set one up and see if Minion gives me the same result.
Anyways to stop the drive scanning you'll need to edit your minion.xml
- Open your terminal. (Located in Applications >> Utilities)
- In the terminal window type: open ~/.minion
- A window should appear and one of the files in that window should be named minion.xml
- Open minion.xml with your favorite text editor (not ms word)
- Add the following above the </minion> line at the bottom:
