Stop character from turning when UI is opened

To be clear, I want my character stop turning every time I open my inventory. Perhaps only make him turn when the character sheet is open or collections.

I've searched in the forum and only found StopIt which seems to have several issues and wasn't updated from 2021.

Any help is appreciated
