I wonder why the PM options is turned off per default?
I can't communicate to anyone ... even if I turn the option on for myself ...

Also, why can't you? You're obviously able to post on the forums, so .... post on the forums?

I dunno about that, Cairenn. When I first signed up, my PMs are off by default.

I could have accidentally turned them off as I was signing up? I dunno...

I just created a new account to check and they were on by default for me.
Emails from other users are off by default. Is that what is causing the confusion?

[Edit] When you are going through the actual sign-up process, you get asked about emails, but not about PMs. You have to actual go in to your user options after you've confirmed your account in order to make any decisions about PMs, and they are checkmarked on by default, or at least they were for me.

How did you create your accounts here? Did you register or use your ZAM Account to login for the first time?

Maybe its when you login for the first time with your ZAM account. I can take a look at that.

When tried to create my account form these forums, it wouldn't work (which is the only reason I joined the IRC channel in the first place... lucky for me it didn't work :P). I was directed to some other site in the network, don't remember which, to register there and then log in with that account.

I created my account by using the same from wowinterface ....
It did not ask me to enable PM's ...

However, when I did enable it, and tried to message someone else, it said the other user does not have PM's enabled ...
