pChat's Prevent Text Fading Doesn't Work

I'm wanting to use pChat's "prevent chat text fading" option.
It's not working.

[Please note: This is for the text. This option is not meant to change the background of the chat box. This is for the text fading only.]

Do any of you marvelously genius addon authors know what needs to be edited in pChat's lua to get this option working again?
