Addon to suggest gear upgrade?

Is there or can we get an addon to tell us, for example in the tool tip when mousing over an item whether it is an upgrade to an item I have or not?

Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but my addon OmniStats will show you what happens with your stats when you equip different gear - but you do have to actually equip the gear first. Raised stats will show as green, lowered as red.

I don't think I've seen an addon that does exactly what you're asking for.

Great Addon but not what I need. I actually may use it otherwise.
