[Mac][Bug?] CMD+Q doesn't quit program

Hello!

Running Minion on OS X Mavericks 10.9.2, when I'm ready to close the program I hit Command + Q like all the other software I want to close.

However, while the GUI window closes, the program itself stays open and running. I can go up to the MINION menu item, and try to quit it from there, but no change. I eventually need to Command+Option+Escape" to force it to quit.

If I click the "X" in the GUI window, the program shuts down and quits with model behaviour. It's only when I try to close it by Command+Q that this happens.
