Minion not loading the game directory

Well, I don't see my issue posted anywhere immediately.

It downloads properly, opens up and lets me select a game. But when I select the game and the addon folder, it never actually loads in minion so I can't install any addons or manage them at all.

Any idea what the issue might be?

I do not know what you have read then, but the "sticky" threads clearly describe what we need if you post bug reports please, and th troublshooting guide also explains what you can do if Minion does not start or load:

Ah, I took "does not load" as in the program literally did not load aka not open at all: so I didn't bother reading further down that. Did not realize it meant the addons directory not loading within the opened program. But I see now. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, but where exactly is that "does not load" in the trobleshooting guide?

I was referring to e.g.

If ESO fails to find addons or Minion fails to update addons (just does nothing after you clicked "Update"):

or

After a fresh installation/new chosen addon directory minion sometimes refuses to show the addons! It will just kind of hang at "Loading <game name> addons", or similar.
