Hi guys,

I'm a live streamer and I think it would be cool if I could read the twitch chat and respond to my viewers without needing to alt-tab all the time.

So there it is. A request for an ingame Twitch Chat addon.

This is not possible, as addons cannot interact with anything outside of the game.

The best you can do is find some 3rd party application to make your chat a transparent (or not /shrug) overlay.

Once Overwolf gets updated for ESO you can run an in game overlay for twitch chat. I've used it in Gw2 and it works great.

Yeah, it's possible to write an exe program that displays on the DX screen as an overlay, which isn't really an addon at all as it's a separate program that interfaces to windows, not eso. But because it can't interface to the game (for tos reasons) keybindings will have to be handled. I have trouble with ventrilo because my PTT is right control, which causes me to crouch in-game.

Iirc, blizzard declared overlays to be against their tos, although I call BS on that.
