Minion wont update

My minion used to work fine until I switched to an SSD and had the game installed in the new drive. Now it recognizes the game thrice (on the list on the left side of the window, under my games, It has 2 "Elder Scrolls Online" and one "Elder Scrolls Online (EU)". Also, it permanently warns about 5 addons to update on the first instance of the ESO and 6 on the second, no matter how many times I update them, they show as out of date after restart. I tried uninstalling both game and minnion, deleting the game folder and the addon folder in the old HD (now secondary disk), tried deleting the extra game from minion, tried changing the .xml file as described in other posts.

How to fix this?

thank you in advance.

Try removing your minion.xml it is located in the windows user directory under the .minion folder C:\Users\<your windows username>\.minion\

Then restart Minion and see if that helps.

Did it already, both before and after reinstalling both game and minion.

Can you post your minion.xml & minion0.log here please?

They are located in the same folder together.

Are you sure you deleted your minion.xml?

Either way you seem to have two of the same paths which I'm sure is tripping up Minion. Can you edit your minion.xml in notepad and remove the top:

Code:
<game addon-path="QzpcVXNlcnNcR2FicmllbFxEb2N1bWVudHNcRWxkZXIgU2Nyb2xscyBPbmxpbmVcbGl2ZVxBZGRPbnM=" auto-update="false" display-name="Elder Scrolls Online" game-id="ESO" unique-game-id="ESO-1"/>
Restart Minion and it should hopefully start to work again.

I'll look into why you have two of the same games added to your minion.xml as that is a bug.

I have been playing in an HD until 2 days ago, when I got an SSD. I have the old HD a secondary drive now (did not format it) and installed TESO in the new ssd for a performance gain, with my OS. Maybe Minion is finding both games (on C: and E: ). I deleted the game folders and the addon folders in the old disk(E: ) since, but it havenīt changed much.

Yeah I think Minion is detecting the ESO application on your old drive and adding a 2nd entry for the addon folder because of it. Manually editing the minion.xml and removing 1 of the ESO-1 entries will fix the problem.

We will need to release a patch for Minion so it doesn't do this in the future.
