Help for Master Recipe List?

This addon has started throwing out some errors, and judging by the comments I'm not the only one it happens to. From the little knowledge I have, it seems there's an old lib it still depends on that is no longer functioning properly? I'm not sure.

I had a look at the addon's author/maintainer, they haven't logged in for 3,5 months. That isn't encouraging.

Is there anyone who could take a look at the addon? Not necessarily to take over, but at least to see if it's an easy fix that we can do ourselves by editing a line or two in the code? Much appreciated.
