UI Control Depth?

People on the forums were(are) begging for a chatbubble addon and I was going to try and take a stab at it. However, it looks like UI controls are only 2 Dimensional. Is that right?

Now you might think that you could place/scale the 2d elements in a way so they appear to be over the heads of other players. The API however doesn't give us enough information to do that properly.


So tbh, I don't think you're going to have much luck with that, you'd probably be better off trying to create something else.

After all, we can hope that they're going to add chatbubbles at some point, since it's such a commonly desired feature.

Haha yeah my next question was going to be about scale to faux a 3rd axis... darn. Thanks though - here's to hoping that ZOS adds that feature themselves!

Considering how many other 'commonly desired features' ESO doesn't have, for a reason, I'd be wary to believe they are going to do this.
