Question about hosting patches

Currently I am making personal testing to find nodes ID numbers, or Item ID numbers, and proper spelling for Nodes so to update Esohead. I have been wondering. On the nexus it's taboo to host someone else's mod, even if you credit them unless you have permission. I wanted to provide an update to Esohead. I know the EsoheadConstants.lua is generated and should not be committed to but I don't see a GitHub or anything for Esohead so I can fork and do a pull request to.

The only safe one for now is to post the text on Pastebin, but in case that does not work what else might I do? What are my options?

Why not just give it to the author?

Is there a way for me to contact them? Dolby is not the author his coworkers are. I'll see what Dolby has to say.

You're right, Dolby is listed on the addon page. fewyn may be the one to talk to though. At the very least, post it in the ESOHead forums here.
