AUI - Advanced UI - FPS drop while using

A bunch of us in our guild (at least 6 of us) who use this Addon have noted a huge FPS drop lately while using it.

Example: I usually get between 60-80fps regularly. After a few minutes of using this Addon, my FPS will drop to around 10-20fps. This happens every single time the Addon is loaded, and without fail.

Anyway, I love this Addon and would like to continue to use it, but I certainly can't when my FPS drops at that kind of rate.

Has anyone else noted or run into this FPS issue whatsoever?
Is there an easy way to get in touch with the creator of this Addon so that he is aware?

I have noticed the same issue and had to turn it off. It does not happen right away but after 15-20 minutes of game play my fps drops to below 10. Once stopping this addon from loading my FPS has been fine since.
