Developing new Addon Managerq

Hello,

I am looking to develop a new Add-on Manager, similar to Minion, but I want to add a lot more features and do more with it. It'll be open source. How can I get the add-on data that I will need?

Thanks,
- Bapes

I had asked a moderator to mention to you, maybe in a PM, because the API is proprietary so you won't be able to develop one. You and everyone else will have to wait for Minion 4. I don't feel like searching for other threads but this has been asked between 5 and 10 times for certain. So there should be old threads that mention the API is proprietary.

How can I become part of the development team to get this out faster? Maybe they should consider making it open source.

Thank you so much. Hopefully, we can get something rolling soon. I'm willing to provide my work experience and resume as well. Do you have access to any Minion developers? Is there a Discord?

No there isn't.
Please write a private message to Dolby and ask if and how you can contribute.
