Lurker and potential addon developer here (I worked on some components for large WoW UI Addons years ago) and I forced myself to create my account now rather than later just to agree with you here.

I created all three of my mule/alt/crafters in DC and I get to hear this on a regular basis now... I too want this. If I get time to research the possibility, I will try my hand at it.
