Please read BEFORE asking addon&library questions/post bugs/ask to remove your addon

Thank you for reading this BEFORE posting addon or feature related questions, bug reports, or if you want to get your addon removed.

If you have a specific addon related question or bug report
Attention: This ONLY relates to currently maintained addons!
-> Please read below at "If you request an addon fix/update/revive" if you want any non-maintained addon to get fixed/revived
  1. Read the addon's comments (use the addon search at the top right edge of this website and enter (parts of) the addon's name to find it.
Ask your addon related configuration and other questions there please and also read the addon's description and/or changelog. It often contains usefull information, needed dependencies, video links or other ressources.
  2. Check if the author portal, below the download link of the addon, is enabled. If it is not enabled the total line with "Portal", "Bugs" and "Feature" will be invisible! (Screenshot 1 below shows a light blue rectangle around the portal).
Click on Portal and check the FAQ there. Maybe your question was answered in it already as many persons asked the same.
If not you can use the bug report button (Screenshot 1 below shows a red rectangle around it) to report a bug.
Or the feature button (Screenshot 1 below shows a light green rectangle around it) to request a feature.
Please read the addon comments (see 3. below) BEFORE using the bug/feature buttons!

Screenshot 2 - The Author portal overview:
  3. Read the addon's comments if someone else of the community has posted a fix or a fixed version for download
  4. If not: Try to contact the author of the addon via private message, the addon's comment section or if a github link is given via the github repository -> bug report/feature request
  5. If no answer was given within 2 weeks you may ask for someone here at this forum https://www.esoui.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=164 to provide help/a fix. Please use the forum search first if someone else has not already asked for a fix!

If you request an addon fix/update/revive
  1. Read the addon's comments if someone else of the community has posted a fix or a fixed version for download, or has requested the same feature (which was maybe already declined).
  2. If not: Try to contact the author of the addon via private message, the addon's comment section or if a github link is given via the github repository -> bug report/feature request
  3. If no answer was given within ~2-4 weeks you may ask for someone here at this forum https://www.esoui.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=164 to provide help/a fix or revive the addon. Please use the forum search first if someone else has not already asked for a revive/update/fix!
  4. If the addon just needs to remove LibStub and included libraries: https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9149 -> read at the relating headline about included libraries/LibStub

If you want to know how dependencies/libraries work and how to fix older addons yourself:
Remove embedded libraries in subfolders like "/libs", remove LibStub, fix LibAddonMenu included in subfolders:
https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9149
