(Request-search) Guard Nameplates Always show

If you are stealing items and got seen, get bounty on you, but I have nameplates only shown when I target someone, other wise there is too much names everywhere and slows down game.

is there a addon or way to show guard names all the time, even i got the option to show npc names only when I target them. Would be easier to spot guards, not to pay bounty for them.

Not possible. Rendering nameplates is done by the native code, not accessible for addons.

Are we maybe able to change settings of the nameplate via API functions? Like we can change the camera and sound settings?

Maybe on can check if a bounty exists and change the nameplate npc settings then accordingly.

ok, how about a warning message on the screen, if a guard gets close?

We are not able to detect this. And this would also be a kind of a cheat imo. You just need to pay attention

I figured out what to do,
you can just enable showing nameplates for neutral and enemy npc, and you can see all guards, if someone else is searching this.
Also help with killing npc and stealing, since you can only do that to neutral npc plebs.

Ah, thanks. This is the options of the game that I talked about as I thought about enabling/disabling them by addon (e.g. if you are sneaking or got a bounty).
But I did not know if this is possible at all.
