Map issue with no error msg

Often when I press M to go to the large map it defaults to Tamriel instead of selecting the zone or instance I'm in.

If I select the zone I'm in and press M again to leave the map. Then press M to active map it connects me properly back to where I am at i.e. Zone, town, instance.

Happens very often. I do have multiple map related addons and I have not gone through turning them off yet. I was just checking if any others were seeing the issue.

I have never experienced this "bug" before, either with addons or without.

Sometimes the game tells you though that you are somewhere on the map where you actually aren't.
I was inside a town, updated a quest and all of sudden the map showed me I'm somwhere else in the zone.

I'd suggest you to disable all addons with map changes and try if the bug is still there, just to narrow it down.
