Minion hasnt loaded for weeks

I have been looking on the forums and trying to get my minion to load past the splash screen for weeks but no dice. here is the info that I think is required to help.

Hi Piggens,

What happens if you do the following:

- Uninstall Minion and choose to delete all configurations when asked.
- Download the older version of Minion 2.0.14 here: http://cdn.mmoui.com/minion/Minion2.0.14-beta.exe
- Install and Run Minion
- When prompted that there is an update for Minion choose to skip it.
- Does Minion load for you?

I did all you asked, but when i install it loads into the minion splash screen and does nothing. it says "mimion exe. not responding" that is as far as I can get. if it matters I have windows. 8.1. Minion has worked for me in the past but recently stopped working.

Can you open your task manager in windows and under processes end any that say Minion.exe? Then try and launch Minion again?

Any new minion0.log or minion.xml?

Tried that, but unfortunately same result. It doesn't give me the option to put the shortcut on my desktop either it sends it to "Zen" folder under programs. I made sure it was allowed past my firewall and Avast antivirus.
