Minion won't load

I use OS X version 10.9.5. Uninstalled and reinstalled Minion multiple times. It will pop up for a moment then close out. What can I do? I noticed in other threads that you ask for a couple files but when I go into my files and search under Minion the only one that pops up is Minion2.0.13-beta.dmg. I'm at a lost.

On OSX you'll need to open the terminal window

Applications > Utilities > Terminal

Then type the following commands into the terminal window:

cp ~/.minion/minion* ~/Desktop

Once you type the above command a minion.xml and minion0.log file should appear on your desktop so you can attach them here. If nothing pops up on your desktop let me know because that means Minion isn't even loading enough to create an error log.

Is this a first time install and Minion isn't working or has it worked in the past and just recently stopped working?

I've had minion install since before launch. Everything was working fine but a month ago I was trying to update my add ons and it would just sit there in the loading screen and never load properly. So I than uninstalled the program and then updated my OS X and then reinstalled Minion and now running into this issue of it flashing on my desktop and then disappearing. No crashing warnings just exiting out after a couple second of me clicking the icon.

Your minion.xml is a little messed up, not sure how it got that way but if you do the following it may get you back up and running:

In the terminal window:

rm ~/.minion/minion.xml

try launching Minion again.

hello, im having the same issues where minion logo pops up on screen then dissapears within 3 seconds and it never starts up.
tried all of these things above and reinstalling too.
