help file for addon

hi jest wandering what help file format is best to add with a addon ? as a readme or help file.

we cant use a .txt as ESO will add that file name in the addon list and marking it as out of date

You could try .rtf, .doc, or similar. Or do something as simple as putting the help .txt file inside another folder.
