Game cannot find "events.lua" and won't start

I updated my game today and getting this? Do i need to reinstall the game or is this from an addon?

Addons can't prevent the game from starting, because they're only loaded after the character selection page, so you should at a minimum be able to get there.

If you can't get that far, you'll probably have to treat it as a game problem - try the game repair and if that still doesn't work, contact the support department.
