No Addons showing in game menu

I checked all related post on the forum, made sure all the solutions offered were tested before posting about that damn issue. Going nuts atm.

The installation of Minion went well. I had no Elder Scrolls Online\Live\Addons folder in my C:\Users\name\Documents\ so I made them.

Selected the folder in Minion, installed a few Addons and then started the game. At my Character screen I check the Addons option and nothing, even with the Out of Date box checked.

I play on North America server so I tried Livena to no avail, still empty when in game.

I'm on a PC W7 Pro 64 Bit.

Any help would be appreciated because I got no clue why the 08&*()^*&(^*(&%^987 wont work.

Can you post the install path you have for one single addon, please? From C: right through to addon.txt

Preface: I read your post, but I am just reiterating in case you missed something.

First off, make sure your addons are in the following directory (Windows Vista, 7, 8):
Code:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
Your addons will look like this:
Code:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns>dir
Volume in drive C has no label.
 Volume Serial Number is 6CC7-220D

 Directory of C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns>
If you have done this, your client might be bugged. It's something I have encountered now and again. How to fix it:
  • Exit the game
  • Delete your AddOnSettings.txt file

Code:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live>dir
Volume in drive C has no label.
 Volume Serial Number is 6CC7-220D

 Directory of C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live

04/16/2014 04:29 PM <DIR> .

04/21/2014 01:55 AM <DIR> Screenshots
04/21/2014 01:03 PM 818 AddOnSettings.txt <--- This File
04/21/2014 12:59 PM 7,885,207 ShaderCache.cooked
04/21/2014 01:03 PM 2,864 UserSettings.txt
               3 File(s) 7,888,889 bytes
               7 Dir(s) 279,014,473,728 bytes free

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live>
By deleting that file, you will force the client to check your directory to refresh the list of Addons from scratch. It won't ruin any of your addons or your settings.

Hope this fixes your problem! If not, let me know.

If you were playing Elder Scrolls Online NA previously and you didn't have a C:\Users\<your windows name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns folder then there is a problem. ESO makes that folder and a bunch of files in C:\Users\<your windows name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\ when you launch the game. So if you just installed the game and havent logged in you wont have those folders, but after your first login you will.

What folders do you have in C:\Users\<your windows name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\ ?
If you have a live folder go into that and do you have more than just a AddOns folder?

Found the problem

I found the problem. While I read everywhere to use the C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns path, it was not where my game saved its stuff.

Looking around I found the folders I needed at \My Stuff\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns. So using this new path in Minion and moving all the Addons from the incorrect path to the new one fixed my problem.

Thanks for the help.
