Minion 3 - Internet issues

We have just released a quick update to Minion 3.0.12 that may require a full re-install of the client to solve the "Unable to connect to the internet" error. Please uninstall the old version of Minion and download the updated client from minion.gg if you are experiencing this issue.

More info will be posted about our new Minion 4 client soon too!

Is this working for anyone else? I cannot get the new client to install. not sure if this is user error or something different about minion.

It seems some people get issues when installing the new version directly over the old one.
I suggest you first uninstall the old version and choose to keep your profile data and only afterwards install the new one.

I uninstalled the old version but did not keep my profile. I installed the new version and I could not get it to see the ESO addons directory, either with auto scan or manually pointing Minion to it.

After quitting and relaunching Minion 3 times, the auto scan worked! Wierd.

Thanks for taking these reports seriously and finding the problem.

Note that the install is still flagged as not having a valid certificate. I ignored it but that's going to be a red flag for some.

As a returning player I was greeted with the "cannot connect to the internet" when trying to run Minion. After uninstalling minion and installing the new minion it seems to work for me so far.

Ok, I followed all the instructions. I launched Minion and I set the add on folder in my options menu and can't find any of the add ons in the folder. Not sure what I did wrong.

If the troubleshooting guide does not solve your problems then please search the Minion forum if someone reported a similar issue and how it was solved.
If there is nothing similar then create a a new thread in the Minion forums and provide the info and files that are aske for in the sticky thread " If Posting Bug Reports or requesting help ...".

May I ask when, "soon" is?

I had politely asked Siri if he could add something to Minion 3.x to prevent it from trying to download mods that have been updated but not yet approved. Siri, politely answered "Nope" and suggested I see when, "soon" might be.

So I'm taking his advice, just curious.

My issue is that the folder path is correct, the addons are in the folder and Minion updates them according to what is being shown on the options tab. For some reason my addons are not working or even showing up on my game. If you have an answer for me send me a message because I can't read messages on the website for the ads on the website.

Any news as to when "soon" is? Someone was mentioning that they have Mac os 14 and Minion isn't working with it. Some java command line vodo from a comment didn't work either. They had to manually install the mods.
