Installing Add-ons on steam version

Hi,

I recently bought the game over steam and all installation procedure mention going through c:... my documents/Elder scroll online and dropping it there but with steam this file doesn't exist and the directory is within progam files/steam. Is there something i need to modify from the add-on or a file location in the steam file that i need to extract it to?

It should be the same for STEAM and non-STEAM versions, as far as I found in the net.

Start the game once:
Start the game at least once and configure your settings etc. After this the directory and some files (like "UserSettings.txt") should be created.

After that:

Assuming your windows username is "momothebear" and your are playing on the US servers, the folder should be:

Code:
C:\Users\momothebear\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\
If you are playing on the EU servers the path would be:

Code:
C:\Users\momothebear\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\liveeu\AddOns\
If the "AddOns" directory is missing just create it manually (watch the capital "O").

Manually download the addons from here and unzip the archives into the "AddOns" folder.
Or use the "Minion" addon manager to automatically do it for you, and update the addons.

Windows/NTFS is not case sensitive, so it doesn't matter. Tested on my computer and it works just fine as "Addons" (Win8.1).

Next step, search for your whole disks (including OneDrive) for file UserSettings.txt
Look at the last modified date it should be the last time you runned the game.

1. There is your UserSettings.txt located? (Let Windows search for it)
2. Can you show us a screenshot of the windows-explorer with the folder you dropped the addon in?

/edit: Ayantir ninja'd me

At C:\Users\eric\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live is a UserSettings.txt and a ShaderCache.cooked?
And the addon is not listed in pre-game menu?
