Prevent accidendly speking with the companion

Would an add-on be possible with which one can prevent talking to the companion? I imagine something like that to prevent stealing. Something like double tap "E" to talk to the companion.

Isn't this addon already able to blacklist the companions interaction?

I guess there is no easy way to unblacklist it again, once you need the interaction again.

I haven't tried it on a companion, but I'd imagine it'd work. The unblacklist is a toggle, so you'd look at them and press it to undo it.

Yup, you can disable ALL blacklisting or just a specific item (in this case the companion)....then youd just jave to reset the blacklist

It works also with Companions. Used this Add-on for a long time but didn't realized what it could also did.

I'm curious on why did they choose to make interactions with companions & short time quest companions that way instead of an "hold F to interact" system like with other players.

That's pretty annoying.

Exactly my thoughts! I'd love that change, currently bastian is always in my way. I mean it got better since release of the companions but often he still runs in front of my other NPCs and interactable items and suddenly I speak to him instead of the ones I wanted to talk to. Very selfish guy
