Update process

Hi

I was just wondering; what does it take for the website to show an updated addon? Is it a manual action of a mod?
And if so, does the mod have to check each and every updated file for malicious content? Would it not be a process that can be automated?

As I said, just wondering what happens if I'm in a [release frenzy/bug solving rage/forgot to remove d() calls in my code/or just code really really fast!]

When you upload an addon, it goes into our approval queue. We are usually on top of this, and things get approved in a short amount of time (15 minutes or so). But, we're human, and occasionally it might be 2-3 hours before your upload gets approved.

But we pride ourselves on always manually checking and scanning each file that gets uploaded. Sometimes this even catches errors made by authors, such as zipping up the incorrect file on accident, etc.
