    Perhaps have a drop display for crafting exp? Crafting, Deconstruction, Research, Eating (alchemy, 1st trait only) would be the most common sources for inspiration. I wouldn't be surprised, if Bookshelves are handled differently, but since you do gain one full level, it may just be redundant.
