Summary
This portal is where I keep people updated about what addons I am currently working on and what the current development of the addons are. When I am not coding ESO addons, I am developing various other web applications.

There have been a lot of updates with this version. Everything is still in flux and might change more later. It's getting close to the way I want and the next steps are making it little more user friendly. Some of the major updates to this version include:

A lot of unused code was removed from where I have been debugging things and trying to learn lua and how to make addons for ESO. Also updated the directory structure. It's not what I want, but as I learn more and more lua it will be cleaned up a little.

A simple rules engine was added. This might be overkill, and there are still some things that are needed before it's fully blown. This will allow the use of rule based filters.

Refactored the slash command stuff to work a little nicer. There are still things I'm not liking, but it is close to what I am wanting to do before I work on the GUI for managing loot filters.

The biggest feature of all that was added is the ability to delete and modify filters. This gives you more flexibility than before. Filters can also be enabled/disabled

This release makes the addon a little bit more stable. The reduction of debug output, the logger has been slightly updated, and filters are now working with item type constants. The configuration system is in and the readme document has been updated to reflect some of the changes.

Development has been going smoothly and I'm excited to get this addon to version 1.0.0 which will be the beta release and then I will started working on some extra features and functionality that I am planning!

Thanks!

There have been a few more updates in this version and there is now a way to add filters based on item types. While this is very alpha, you are only able to add item types. In the future versions you will be able to add and manage filters based on a wide range of criteria. I also plan on adding a configuration system to be able to manage configuration settings for this addon.

Until next time, thanks!

This addon is VERY new and is still a large work in progress. I wanted to go ahead and get it into the community while I continue to develop features and functionality for it. If you are another addon developer or are curious about how this is being made, please head over to the GitHub page for the source code. https://github.com/JoshuaEstes/eso-lootomatic
