Trojan
So, there's apparently a Trojan virus when I try to download the files here?

Thanks for this! What an awesome thing this is! Something similar should been implemented by zenimax from the start.
You could maybe add to the description page that people can enable/disable different shaders from the GUI. I mean it's obvious but maybe not that obvious to everyone like me I wasn't very fond of the LumaSharpen as everything was a bit too sharp and crispy all of the sudden so I disabled that. I also disabled DoF, it looks great and I can understand that people like it but for me it was a bit too aggressive (and I don't know how to tone it down, say like 100 meters in-game). I also had trouble getting it to work from the start but then I remembered my ESO isn't installed in the standard location in my HDD so I had to tweak it from the GUI - and voila! Anyways... Here's a screenshot of ESO Graphics Extender compared to original. So here's my sweet spot - the following are disabled from the ReShade: LumaSharpen, LightDoF_Far, LightDof_Near and Lightroom (Lightroom might be ok to keep on but I kinda like more unrealistic look at the moment) I highly recommend using Votans Darker Nights with this. Here's what it does, comparison between ESO Graphics Extender and ESO Graphics Extender + Votans Darker Nights Here's some more comparisons A: Original A: ESOGE A: ESOGE+VDN B: Original B: ESOGE B: ESOGE+VDN C: Original C: ESOGE C: ESOGE+VDN Loading screen art: Original Loading screen art: ESOGE Thanks again!! |

Jizargo, Sir, WORK of ART!! Fully working and I don't notice a FPS issue! Just one thing, It's beautiful and kinda dark. Is it preferred to make adjustments in Darker Nights, or modifying some of the addon files? If you say files, which ones do I get into.
Thanks, ThESiXtHLeGioN |

Re: Depth of Field
A) "Everything" isn't covered by DoF, but instead what is in the "way" of the DoF effect. Which typically will end up being your UI especially if you look at the sky for example. B) "Everything" is covered by DoF, and by everything I mean everything 24/7. This is solved by changing your resolution to 1920x1080 or perhaps by manually installing the LightDoF shader. Also if you run your game at medium or low res instead of high this will occur too. Some people have said windowed mode fixes this. If your issue is A, then there's nothing I can do on my end to solve this. There is a UIAway shader on reshade.me however it's a bit complex and in my experience wont work with transparent UI. That aside the number 1 issue there is the fact everyone has potentially different UI, whether it be scaling or by mods. So my releasing a UIAway that specifically prevents my personal UI from being caught in the DoF wouldn't help much for everyone else. Unless I'm going to specify which scaling you can have, how big your chat box window can be, how large your resolution can be, etc... which just seems absurd to me. The DoF can be toggled off with the Home Key, if you do this you will still have the in-game DoF which affects far distant objects/textures. My DoF is just used to create the illusion of the DoF getting stronger the further away something is. |

Depth of Field
Is there any way to stop the depth of field from affecting everything on the screen, including the menus? I already use windowed fullscreen and attempted windowed bordered as well.

EDIT: I think we've misunderstood each other. Just to clarify, the DoF works properly on my end. The issue is that when I open my inventory, for example, it gets blurred if the thing in the game behind it is too far away (and this includes any addons that add anything to the screen). EDIT 2: Also forgot to mention this applies to the sharpen effect as well. Others likely affect the UI as well, but these 2 are the most noticeable ones.

I suppose I could ask around on the reshade website as well. I've been aware of this problem but couldn't figure out where my screen res is located in the shader or settings. |

Question - is there any way to not draw the effects on top of the UI? My entire UI gets blurred/sharpened depending on how far the surface behind it is in the game. It seems to me that DoF is the only thing affecting it (I tried it when it was night time in the game, so I couldn't really see if any of the other ones affect the UI). Other than that - great job! Everything looks amazing.
EDIT: Just noticed the last entry in the FAQ, but yes, I play on windowed fullscreen and everything is still caught in DoF.

People routinely isntall games in several directories nowadays. Steam support this and it's easy to add an isntall folder on Steam For exemple, my install folder is J:\steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\ You may find the correct path by two different methods : 1 - automatic : searching the registry for the path. I found the path to my game in this registry folder : you may check if it's the same in your's Ordinateur\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-443283055-1377393703-3879415141-1003\System\GameConfigStore\Children\e207c676-1895-4155-8ee3-4a4b490d024d drawback : the key may change in the future, and it seems sensible to windows language so it's a bit complicated. 1- bis : searching the whole computer for eso64.exe drawback : problem if there is more than one eso64.exe file on the computer for some reason. Also it could be slow 2 - simpler : open a window to ask where the file eso64.exe is drawback : it's open to user's mistakes or lack of computer knowledge (but those people usually plays on console, or don't install mods anyways)
I extracted the .zip directly in the \client directory. the unzipping created this structure : \client\Reshade + Preset\dgxi.ini I moved everything in \client and all is fine now ! thanks for this wonderfull addon. let me know if you have a link for donation
