ItemSetGuide  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.1
by: Sephiroth018 [More]
What is this
ItemSetGuide gives you an overview over all available sets (craftable and non-craftable), including their bonuses, required levels, available items, crafting locations, required traits for crafting and if you have enough traits to craft it.

How to use
Open the main window through the settings menu (ESC -> Settings -> Addon Settings -> ItemSetGuide -> Open Window)
You can also set a keybind
You can also use a slash command:
  • "/itemsetguide": Shows all available commands
  • "/itemsetguide show": Opens the main window
  • "/itemsetguide showmenu": Opens the settings menu

(The numbers in the list are the corresponding numbers in the first screenshot)
Hoover over the set name to display the full bonus description. (1)
Hoover over the level to see more levels (if available). (2)
Hoover over an item icon to see it's tooltip. (3)
Hoover over the "Craftable"-column if it says "Yes" to see the required traits for that set. (4)
Use the Search-Button in the upper left corner to filter the item list
Item icons: (3)
There are 3 different icons shown for the items:
  • Check mark: This is the only item available for that slot
  • Plus sign: There is more than one item available for this slot
  • X: None of the items available for that slot can be crafted
Click any of the signs to get a detail view at the bottom of the window, displaying all items for that slot (5) and how many traits you already have researched for that item type and how many are required (6).

For craftable sets:
Hoover over any of the alliance icons and it will show you the location at which this set can be crafted.

In the settings menu, you can also set the item quality for the tooltips and the level that should be used for tooltips.

Requesting new features/Reporting bugs
Please post your requests/bugs on Github. You can also see the planned release there as soon as I have categorized it.

Planned features
  • Sorting the list
  • More filtering
  • Porting to crafting locations
  • Places, where the non-craftable items can be found (if they have a specific place)
  • Creating custom "set definitions" and tracking the progress in finding all parts
  • Making use of the new functions in API 3, when released

Addon lifecycle
The addon will be supported by me as long as I am playing ESO (which should be a long time).
If I stop playing ESO, I will try to find someone to take over development of the addon.

A quick summary for non-german speaking people:
The roadmap can viewed here.
Crafting locations are currently planned for release 1.0 but may be done a bit earlier.
Localisation will be done and is currently planned for release 1.1, but I am waiting for ESO Update 3, as it provides many new API functions to get localized set and item information.
Localization to german will be done by myself.
