Description
Rare Fish Tracker helps you keep track of the rare fish you have caught in your pursuit of fishing achievements. This add-on gives you a handy display window that automatically detects your current zone, the fishing achievement related to that zone, and your progress toward that achievement; and displays this info for you.

Fish are listed first by zone, then by rarity (color). You can choose whether the add-on highlights the fish you have caught or the fish you still need, move the window, and adjust its transparency. A keybinding allows you to show and hide the window with a keypress.

End result: I'm unable to hit ESC to get to the menu prompts; I can click on some windows; basic keystrokes cause my character to attack (not helpful in the middle of Elden Root..); hitting ENTER does get you to the text line, so a /logout works from there.

I do have quite a few other addons, but the 1.21 version does not have this issue. Rolling back to that has worked around the problem.

That is real weird. Please verify that in RareFishTracker.txt the API Version looks like this:
## APIVersion: 100012

Redownloaded the plugin and installed. Checked that line. Works. Not sure what went wrong, but thanks.

slowly then :

you download rare fish tracker. When you load your game it's on your screen so you know that it's installed. Now people who are used to addons go directly in the controls to see if they can bind a key to turn it on/off when they need/don't need it. (i assume this is the step you missed at first, and the same one votan didn't think of when he answered you the first time, advising for fisherman -- even if it's still a good advice)

after that other people are using or not Fisherman. And fisherman gives an option to turn rare fish tracker "automatically" on when you are fishing. Of course if your Rare Fish Tracker is always "On" you won't see much of a difference. You will see it if you have it "off" when you start fishing. There is nothing redundent here.

To sum up, people using fisherman can free their bound key to assign it to another addon, but people who don't have fisherman will still need it.

edit : still haven't updated my RFT, i may be out of the point on the settings options though. (@votan, you added the hide/show option in RFT already or you will?)

addons often use a shortcut (Keybind) to show/hide on the main screen (HUD) :
open the general options (esc) and browse the "controls" menu to find rare fish tracker and give it a shortcut.

this (for rare fish tracker for sure) or/and sometimes in settings>addons you'll find more options for them.

@picard: Sorry, I was not precise enough. In the upcoming version I added two addon settings options to hide/show the window without key-binding a shortcut.
