What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, and CraftBag
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)

Recently added features:
  • Now tracks items in the extended bank for ESO+ subscribers (it's still in 'Bank', but now it won't disappear or have no name in it's location)
  • Right click menu to link in chat (double-clicking an item still works)
  • Right click menu option to find all missing pieces of a motif from the current list
  • Motif check is now two different right click options. One for local, one for Chat. Both generate a link for the achievement with "known"/"unknown" chapters based on what's missing from the displayed list
  • Motif check also doesn't require filter to single motif anymore, it's based on whatever style you right clicked, and only that one
  • Can be configured to put the item location information directly into the tooltip, or leave it in the extra frame like previous versions
  • Right click menu now has two quick filter options, filter by item name and filter by set name
  • Writ Voucher count is now part of the Gold info popup (rightmost column)

Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Voodoo might be possible

You state that you've had problems since Summerset came out (before you re-wrote this post). I've been using it daily since Summerset came out (and long before) and have had no problems.

I see you posted a message here asking for help on 4/4/18. To the best of our knowledge, the error you were seeing was addressed. We never head back from you after the newer version was posted (10 days AFTER your post).

Did you try running without Votans Minimap? If it works right, then it's interaction between addons causing an issue, and not something specific to IIfA itself.

So, instead of writing it off, how about actually asking a question instead of condemning it as abandoned (which it is definitely NOT)?

We really do care that it works for everyone, and if we can find the problem, we'll solve it if possible.

Is there any way to make the tool tips show on the left side on the ii window?, I like to put it right up on the right side of the screen, bu then the tool tips appear over top of the module

Also, for some reason the window has gone semi transparent lately... I have transparency turned off in DarkUI, but this addon is the only one that is still doing it

This looks like you don't have a current version. The line # the crash is on doesn't have a call to that function on it in current release.

GetCollectibleNickname_lua error

I love this add on, it's one of my favorites, but I keep getting an UI error whenever I scroll over a crafting survey. I tried disabling some of the other addons that I thought might have been interfering with it and still can't seem to get it to work. Anybody else ever had this problem or have any ideas on fixing it? Thanks! Error text is below:

Well, I haven't done a diff of the 2 versions of IIfADataCollection.lua, but all signs seemed to point to IIfA:ClearLocationData(GetString(IIFA_BAG_BANK)) not working.

I even tried /script IIfA:ClearLocationData("Bank") in the chat, and the Bank counts remained.

Well, II claims I've got 692 Approx. Slots Used in my bank, so... not sure whats going on with bank counts.

Big fan of this addon for about as long as it's been out, and I have one suggestion for the inventory frame: an option to have the currency and bag slots buttons on the title bar area so I can check them while the rest is minimized. I'd say about 99% of the time, that's all I want to know.

Oh, I just remembered another feature that would be amazing: ability to see items on multiple accounts. I recently purchased another copy of the base game to have all my trade guilds on it and be able to join more PvE guilds. I'd love to be able to see what I have on my trader characters when deciding what to put in the shared guild bank to sell, or what I have in my main account from the trader account (especially my craft bank).

I don't know for sure if the game restricts parsing saved variables of another account in this scenario, but it keeps everything in the same files when ran on the same computer, so it seems like it should be visible to the addon from every account used on the local machine.

If the lua scripting doesn't let two accounts see each other normally, one solution could be making another dummy addon (ala MasterMerchant style), and putting all of the items from both accounts there under custom arrays, i.e.

rather than default "character" "account" headings. That way you preserve the data structure of the normal insight, but allow for the option to duplicate everything to a way more easily visible to any arbitrary accounts-- while also keeping the saved variable files from getting too massive. But, you might not even need to do that, depending on how you structured the data currently; I haven't looked closely.


**edit: Also, I'm available to develop a prototype for multi-account functionality, if it's something you'd want to incorporate but don't have the time to work on.

I re-installed your latest official version and the bank counts are now correct.
No idea how Baetrams mods for FCOIS could make phantom items appear. Glad it's working again though.
