PenTest is a tool to show a few bits of info on your target that might be useful for dealing damage:
  • Spell and Weapon Penetration
  • Off Balance and Immunity
  • Minor Vulnerability

To display Penetration values the following abilities are tracked:
  • Major/Minor Breach
  • Crusher (you have to define yourself in the settings if normal or infused value is used)
  • Alkosh
  • Major/Minor Fracture
  • Night Mother's Gaze
  • Sunderflame

Additionally, the penetration values of your character (that are influenced by CP, sharpened weapons or by sets like Twice Fanged Serpent) are read from the API as well.

OMFG. I've literally been looking for something exactly like this for months now. I rarely login into esoui and mostly lurk this site but I just had to show my appreciation. Seriously bro I've always wanted to track penetration properly in realtime and this does just that, now I may not need to bring ele drain and monitor pug groups whenever I'm solo queuing. Thanks again man keep up the good work I'll be sure to let some friends and guildies know about it

Would it be possible to create an option to only have the relevant penetration bar show if for example your stamina is at least x% higher than your magicka or something similar? I would like to use account wide settings but only have the relevant bar visible on my dps minions. I think simply showing the higher pen value might not always be reliable because of NMG/SF. Really liking your addons, keep doing Talos' work.

You need to change Crusher value in settings .
Due to API limitations the addon can't know which "strenght" is applied. This is why there is a setting to specify the crusher value. Please adjust it to your specific case.

Addon not recognise torug 5 piece bonus and misses 622 penetration magicka and stamina.

Mundus stones don't update indicator

Hello,

I don't know if this is an API shortcoming or what, but if I go to switch to The Lover mundus stone, the indicated penetration does not change.

If I do other stuff (I clicked on an outworld quest item 5 minutes later) then the number changes and becomes correct.

Got this while tried to change the value of the crusher. Still changed the number though. Guess something has to do with Urich's Skill Point Finder.
I'll put something in that should prevent this in the future. This should only happen if you have an Addon that manipulates names of abilities or buffs, like LUI extended. This error should only occur if you change the value before you did any fighting after a reloadUI or login.

In both cases: Atm only the penetration value should change when Resistance debuffs are applied, there shouldn't be an icon (Thats not what the addon does atm, but I'll implement it as an option - see the request above).
I'll check this on my end, too: Can you confirm if the penetration value changes when Alkosh/NMG are applied?

Edit: Tested it, found issues and fixed them.
