Replace your default inventory's list view with a more compact grid view! The default list view shows 11-12 items at a time (in my case), so it can become a pain to navigate your inventory.

Grid view sacrifices detailed information for more pictures. Sometimes you want the detailed information, so I've included a keybind that will toggle the grid on and off.

Features:
  • Grid view for your main inventory, your bank, your guild bank, your craft bag, NPC's stores, AND the buyback screen!
  • Toggle grid view on and off! Useful for when you need to scan with more information.
  • Customizable grid size.
  • Four default skins to choose from, with more available for download.
  • Authors can submit their own skins for download. (See Inventory Grid View Skin Template for details.)
  • Offsets item tooltips so they do not cover up the grid (can be turned off).
  • Set scale of item icon animation.
  • Works with Advanced Filters and other inventory addons such as Item Saver and AlphaGear!

Well, there's a bunch of use-cases for that.

Haha yeah I know, I've been caught twice now fleeing from the zerg trying to eat my soup. Or in the over zealous dungeon finder group that won't wait two seconds for me to eat.

I might have just had another burst of inspiration for a long term solution. Now that I'm working though, it'll just depend on when I get time to research and test it.

Well, there's a bunch of use-cases for that.

Your 'hax' definitely got rid of lua errors

THe problem is since you're using CallSecureProtected on everything, nothing of that works in combat.

Including using potions, food etc from the inventory.

Do you have any idea if there's a way to circumvent this?

As much as your addon is really a "must have" for me, I will join Diesosoon and tell you
take care of IRL first, and we will wait for your return until you have some time tangle
with whatever mess our Zenifriends have done ;-).

I just wish I was knowing how to do those Addons myself, so I could help or
just take care of some changes myself.

Thanks a lot for your time and the great work you put so we can enjoy the game even more.

Normally when something like this happens, I can just right click an item and use it from the context menu. Tried that approach and got this error:

I was not receiving this error yesterday, prior to the update. I updated all addons that had available updates.

Turned off my addons one by one and found out it is Inventory Grid View causing the issue. I turned it back on and toggled the option to change between default inventory and the grid inventory. Error only occurs when the grid view is enabled.
