First off thanks for your contribution and ideas!

What I dislike is the general trend to create modified version of popular addons because of missing features.
Why don't you work together with the original mod authors to make the changes official or perhaps optional?

When the original mods gets updated with bugfixes and new features the chaos is there.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate your contribution to the community but please work together guys!

@Fargoran, if you'll scroll down in the comments, you'll see I'm doing exactly that. ingeniousclown is working on integrating my changes as options in his own mod, and this seems to have inspired him to greatly expand its configurability in general -- he was talking about a drop-down menu for icon selection, for instance. I'm not out for glory, and if we reach a point where his mod can be set up to do everything I want and nothing I don't, this one will disappear. Meanwhile, we're coordinating on techniques and bug fixes!

It looks like he renamed the addon from refined to remix... If you are using Minion, it doesn't delete the old one if it is a different name.

Go into
Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

And delete ResearchAssistantRefined

Sounds wonderful! Thank you for the clarification!

@QuadroTony, the answer provided by @elfindreams appears to be correct. Because I renamed the addon, you've basically got two copies trying to run, and they're both registering the same name, which creates the error. (This would also happen if you installed my version an ingeniousclown's original at the same time.) Just delete one and it should be fine.

Colorblind

Would it be possible to allow for a different color scheme besides Orange/Green/Yellow? This would be very beneficial to colorblind individuals, like myself.

@Vincent, I hadn't considered colorblindness. (That's probably why the original has an alternate color mode...) Right now I'm waiting to see the updates ingeniousclown is working on, which might make it unnecessary for me to do anything more. But meanwhile, if you don't mind spending a minute with Notepad, it's very easy to edit the colors.

Search the .lua file for the term: SetColor

You'll find it seven times, close together in the file. The full lines will look something like this:

indicatorControl:SetColor(1, 0.8, 0, 1)

The numbers in parentheses are red, green, blue, and opacity. I don't know enough about colorblindness to say for sure, but you'll probably get the best results by swapping red and blue, the first and third numbers. You could also try swapping green and blue (second and third), or of course you can put in completely new numbers and see what happens.

Thank you! I'll play around with the values to see what works best!

Are there any features left in this add-on that isn't covered by mine since its latest update? I've added a whole lot.

It would be perfect if we can change the different colors. As a colorblind it's a nightmare to see green, orange and yellow -_-'

Thank you
